Canvas Los Angeles hosted the one-night-only event, An Evening with Horioshi III, on Friday, April 24th. Tattoo aficionados joined together for the biggest collection of Irezumi tattoo master’s work to ever be displayed in the U.S. There was live tattooing by Horiyoshi’s son, Kazuyoshi, and 10 models walked the event in their traditional full-body suit tattoos. The event was also the launch of Horiyoshi III’s clothing line, Horiyoshi the Third. Everyone joined together, sipping traditional Japanese drinks with TY KU Sake and TY KU Liqueur, and admiring Horiyoshi’s artwork and clothing. Tattoo and art enthusiast Benji Madden took part in the festivities.
